New Delhi: Pearl School of Business (PSB), Gurgaon and Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi have entered into academic collaboration with the objective to establish, maintain, and enhance educational interaction. The academic collaboration between both the institutes would entail exchange of faculty members, development of joint programmes, curriculum development of BBA programme, resource sharing and preference in admission of SRCC students into PSB's MBA programme.
According to the agreement, PSB and SRCC will promote contact and co-operation between their faculty members. PSB through its academic collaborations with international business schools like Babson College, USA, Nottigham Trent University, UK and Asian Institute of Technology School of Management, Thailand will facilitate offering of faculty development programmes and workshops to SRCC faculty. PSB may invite SRCC to teach graduate and undergraduate courses at PSB and vice versa. PSB will facilitate the involvement of its International faculty in giving special talks/seminars for SRCC students/faculty.
Under the agreement, both institutions propose to explore possibilities of collaboration in designing and offering joint programmes of relevance. As a part of the Academic Collaboration, SRCC will be an active academic collaborator in the development of BBA curriculum at PSB. PSB is launching a BBA programme, accredited by Nottingham Trent University, UK from the academic session 2008. SRCC will nominate faculty members on the BBA Academic Advisory Committee to help PSB in the development of the BBA curriculum and the conduct of the programme. The Principal of SRCC will be the Chairman of the PSB BBA Programme Academic Advisory Committee.
Subject to the criteria laid down by PSB for admission into its MBA (Management & Entrepreneurship) programme, preference in admission would be given to SRCC students. Besides, faculty and students of both the Institutes will be given access to each others' library.
