Institute of Management Technology celebrates Institute Day 2008

India's leading business school, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur, celebrated the 'Institute Day 2008'. The celebrations took place in the presence of the Chief Guest for the occasion, Mr. Umesh Deveshwar, Managing Director of ACE Refractories Ltd, Guest of Honor, Mr. Premchand Paleti, CEO, cFore, Dr. Anwar Ali, Director, IMT, Nagpur and Prof V. Gopal, Dean (Academics), IMT, Nagpur.

The ceremony began with a rendition of the Saraswathi Vandana, followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Anwar Ali. The Guest of Honour for the occasion, Mr. Premchand Paleti and the Chief Guest for the occasion, Mr. Umesh Deveshwar, then addressed the students and shared their experiences and knowledge about the industry and the Indian and global economic scenario. Mr. Paleti and Mr. Deveshwar also distributed scholarships to the students of the 2007-2009 PGDM batch. As part of the celebrations, the institute also organized a Blood Donation Camp as an example of the enterprising students commitment towards the society.
