Nagpur: Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur celebrated its 5th Institute Day by the inauguration of an Entrepreneurial Incubation centre. This centre will be operational not only for IMT, Nagpur students but for any budding entrepreneur who wants to kick start their ventures. Keeping the traditions alive, Prize Distribution Ceremony and Blood Donation Camp was also organised at this auspicious day. To grace the occasion, Mr. Rajeev Karwal, Co-founder and CEO of Milagrow Business and Knowledge Solutions was invited as a chief guest. An alumnus of IMT, Mr. Karwal expressed, "IMT has always been known for its various Student-driven initiatives." He praised the efforts for development of Kushagra- The Entrepreneurial cell. (Kushagra is the driving force behind the inauguration incubation centre at the campus, for which The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Nagpur team along with their head Mr. Mangesh Joshi was present.) Mr. Karwal offered some deep insights about the current scenario in the industry and how to make the best out the prevailing situation. he said "Jobs which pay the highest may not be the best ones." Regarding the institute, he offered a valuable piece of advice by asking the students to indulge in the organisation of more and more events. He urged the student managers to put in efforts to strengthen the alumni relationships as it will help the institute both in short and long term. He left the stage by invoking the young and fresh minds to strive hard and keep striking till the luck itself kneels down and your way to success is paved. Dr. Anwar Ali (Director-IMT) and Prof. V. Gopal (Dean Academics) took great pleasure in thanking the chief guest and the TiE team. Accolades and Scholarships were then awarded to the second year student managers for academic excellence. To add to sanctity of the event the student body Vyaktitva organised a Blood Donation Camp at the campus in association with Life line Blood Bank, Nagpur. Nearly 180 volunteers made this noble cause a huge success. |
