JKBOSE to introduce changes in J & K class 10 & 12 exam pattern
Jammu: The series system that was introduced in the class 10 & 12 annual exams of Jammu and Kashmir did not go down too well with the students. As a result, the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) plans to slightly change the question paper pattern for the upcoming annual exams 2016 for the Jammu province (summer zone.)
The class X exams are scheduled to begin from 4 March, 2016 while the class XII exams will commence sooner (25 February, 2016.)
JKBOSE plans to continue with the series system but will that the questions are relatively easier. According to complaints received after the 2015 annual board exams, the questions of series A and B were easier than those of series C and D.
A source from JKBOSE told The Tribune, "The school board has evolved a new strategy this time. Though the series system remains intact, the question paper set under the system will be comparatively easier to attempt. For example, if a paper consists of 10 questions, at least seven questions will remain same in all series while there will be a slight change in three questions to be asked in the upcoming board exams of Class X and XII."
