Aligarh: Mutual cooperation between Malaysia and India can enhance the world economy to a new horizon, Abdul Taib Mahmud, chief minister of Malaysia's Sarawak state, said on Tuesday here in Uttar Pradesh.

The minister, accompanied by a ten-member delegation, was on a visit to the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and interacted with the students and faculty members of the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology.

Quality human resource is required for driving the current modernisation process, the minister said addressing the meet.

Opportunities for employment in the Southeast Asian countries are increasing and the AMU students should partner in the progress, he added. IANS
