Thiruvananthapuram: Over two-dozen software professionals working for various IT firms at the Technopark campus here on Friday proved that they weren't just computer geeks and were capable of cutting a music album as well.

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal released the album titled 'VOTP' (Voice Of The Park) - the first from the techies. It has songs in English, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil.

'Technopark is renowned for being a first of its kind in several aspects, be it the software engineering competency centre or the State School IT Fest, the collaboration of companies or cultural festivals, the park has always been a trend setter!' claimed Technopark CEO R.K. Nair.

Over 8,000 CDs of the track were distributed among Technopark employees at the release function. IANS
