Separate cut-off list for OBCs at DU

New Delhi: In a first, Delhi University (DU) has issued a separate cut-off list for students belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.

The latest 'OBC cut-off' has given a relaxation of 1 to 3 percent to OBC students as compared to students from the General Category.

Science Courses Cut-off List 2008

For B.Com (Hons), which received the maximum number of applications this year, the cut-off for OBC candidates stands at 89-91 percent at Gargi and Ramjas College.

At Miranda House, the cut-off percentage for History (Hons) and Political Science (Hons) has dipped by 2 percent for OBCs at 76.5-81 and 80.5-85.5 percent respectively.

For the B.Sc. (Mathematics) programme at Miranda House, OBC candidates will require 83 percent marks.

OBC students who wish to pursue B.Sc Computer Science (Hons) at Indraprastha College should have atleast 85-90 percent marks.
