Prime Minister to visit Kolkata on Saturday
Kolkata: Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will visit Kolkata to attend the 150th foundation day celebrations of the premier St Xavier's College on January 16, 2010.

"The Prime Minister had planned to come for the inauguration last year but unfortunately he could not come owing to his ill health. This year he has agreed to be with us," St Xavier's College rector Father George Ponodath said.

"He will arrive at the college campus in the evening (at around 4 p.m.) on Saturday," Ponodath said.

The Prime Minister will also attend a programme organised by the National Library at the Science City auditorium at 12 noon on Saturday.
