Allahabad: The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) is organizing a week-long Science Conclave from December 15-21, 2008 at its campus.

The main objective of the Conclave is to encourage, generate interest and awareness amongst students and teachers for taking up science as a career.

Students will get an opportunity to interact with Nobel Laureates and other noted scientists at the same platform.

Martin Lewis Perl, Jerome Issac Friedman, Robert C. Richardson, Sir Anthony Leggett, Sir Harod (Hary) and Walter Kroto are expected to participate in the Science Conclave.

"Nobel laureates will share their experience, knowledge with students and young researchers of the country; this will be the highlight of the week-long event", said M.D. Tiwari, Director, IIIT-A.
