CBSE, ICSE Class XII students in UP to reach 5 hours early for exam

Lucknow: Students appearing for their Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams today are expected to have a tough day today with the government schools and offices closed in view of Kanshiram Jayanti and the Bahujan Samaj Party's (BSP) mega-rally.

The venue of the massive rally - Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan, as claimed by the district administration has although only one school in the vicinity but it is being learnt that the students of that school have been called five hours before the commencement of the examination.

City Montessori School founder Jagdish Gandhi said that, "Although the Indian School Certificate (ISC) exam for class XII Geography paper 1 is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. but the students have been intimated to reach the venue at 8:30 a.m. in order to avoid any last minute panic."
