AMU welcomes ONGC chief
Aligarh: Mr. Nafisul Hasan, Chief Chemist, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Dehradun while addressing the summer training programme recently organized at the department of Zoology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) shared his views on oil exploration and the need of oil in the energy sector for the development of the country.

He dwelt on the difficult and most complicated process involved in extracting the oil from five to ten kilometer down the surface of the earth.

Mr. Hasan also participated in an interactive session with the students and tried to quench of the thirst of students who asked several questions as to how the oil was explored and how the well was drilled etc.

Mr. Hasan motivated the students through his power point presentation "A Roadmap to Progress" giving them the formula "act, participate and encourage" for the development of the society.
