New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a PG Diploma programme in Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO).

An official from the varsity said, "The course has been launched by the varsity in view of the growth potential of the industry. 15,000 jobs are likely to be generated in the next two years in the industry".

The programme has been jointly developed by IGNOU's School of Law and Legal Talent Management House, Rainmaker.

IGNOU plans to start the course from February 2009.
