CBSE urges schools to relieve teachers for evaluation
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has recently asked its affiliated schools to relieve the teachers for evaluating the Board answer sheets or else they might have to face the music.

With the examinations of class X and XII over now, the evaluation process is on the full swing.

"After receiving some complaints on this issue, all the affiliated schools have been apprised of the communication. If the instructions are not adhered to then those schools which refuse to send their teachers for evaluation would see withheld results," said an official from the CBSE.

The communication, as stated by the Board, clearly mentioned that all the heads of the institutions affiliated with the CBSE under Delhi region are requested to send their subject teachers for evaluating the examination copies in order to ensure timely declaration of results.

The Board also informed that complains from the Chief Nodal Supervisors and Head Examiners regarding the schools not taking the initiative to send their teachers for the evaluation work have come under their notice, and in this case they shall withhold the result of that school for which they will be solely responsible.

"We assign teachers for evaluating the answer sheets depending upon its number and subjects. Teachers are accordingly paid Rs.11 and Rs.16 for class X and XII respectively," added the official.
