CBSE Class 12 exam results to be declared Friday
New Delhi: The results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 examination will be declared on Friday, an official said here on Thursday. A total of 699,129 students appeared for the exams this year.

The results will be declared for Delhi, Guwahati, Allahabad and Chandigarh zones of CBSE. The results in the Panchkula, Ajmer and Chennai regions were declared on Wednesday.

Most students awaiting their results were nervous.

Shweta Gupta, a science student of Loreto Convent School, said, "I am so scared that I haven't been able to eat properly since the last few days. I have no clue what my results are going to be like."

Added Gaurika Sharma, "I have been really nervous over the past few days and now that the D-day is almost here, I have hardly been able to concentrate on anything. I am just praying that I score a decent percentage so that I can make it to a good Delhi University college."

Others, however, have been more relaxed and in a bid to take their mind off the results, have been planning outings with friends.

Achin Kapur, a commerce student from the Air Force School, for instance, said, "I am not tense about the results. Whatever has to happen, will happen. So instead of sitting at home and getting worried, I am going out with friends and partying."

A total of 408,367 boys and 290,762 girls took the CBSE Class 12 board exams in March this year. IANS
