Coimbatore: The State Eligibility Test (SET) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for lectureship will be conducted on August 16.

The examination will be conducted at Coimbatore, Madurai and Chennai.

"Philosophy, law, management science, library science and physical education has been added in the existing list of 25 subjects for qualifying in the State Eligibility Test (SET) from this year," informed G. Thiruvasagam, chairman of the SET committee and Vice-Chancellor of Bharathiar University.

Students can apply for SET before July 17. Application form can be downloaded from the university's website www.b-u.ac.in
