Maulana Azad foundation to give scholarships to minority community girls

Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu: The Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF) is inviting applications from girl students belonging to minority communities for the Maulana Azad National Scholarship.

MAEF will be presenting the scholarship to around 692 meritorious girl students of minority communities studying in Class 11 in Tamil Nadu for the current academic year.

According to a press release, Collector V. Arun Roy has said that the scholarship, worth Rs.12,000, will be given to the selected candidates in two installments each.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants should be studying in recognized schools and should have attained at least 55 percent marks in SSLC examinations," he said.
