Indus Research Centre inaugurated in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: To unravel the mysteries of Harrapan/Indus valley civilization, an Indus Research Centre was inaugurated in the state on Thursday. The centre, a unit of Roja Muthiah Research Library Trust, was inaugurated by noted researcher Mr. Iravatham Mahadevan.

According to sources, the centre contains valuable information on the ancient civilization and would be of great help to historians and particulary students who are pursuing research on Harrapan and Indus Civilisation.

While inaugurating the centre, Mr. Mahadevan also took note of the defeatists, who claimed that the Indus script was no more than a picture.
