CBSE working with Govt for developing CCE
Chennai: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is working closely with the State Government in implementing and developing the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for the State Board Schools.

Vineet Joshi, Chairman of CBSE said that they are continuously in touch with the State Government and officials in the School Education Department to share good practices in implementing the system in the State.

Speaking on the sidelines of the 18th National Annual Conference of Sahodaya Schools, he said that the CBSE is also learning lessons from the different State boards. They are trying to comprehend how sports programmes can be developed and implemented, inspiring from the initiatives of Haryana, Kerala, Karnataka State boards.

Last year, Tamil Nadu became the first state to announce that they would not have any problems in enrolling students from CBSE schools in Class XI, who have been evaluated as per the CCE system.

In order to unburden the students, the State adopted the CCE system earlier this year, and recently ordered to print textbooks with syllabus for each term separately.
