Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Association (JDA), after a long discussion, has declined the applications for land distribution to three private universities.

These include the famous Biyani, Apex and Vidhyasthali Universities.

The proposal for allotting land to one University was pending from the last one and a half year whereas the other two proposals were pending from last six months while the JDA officers claim that they have been working on them since its inception.

The proposal from Apex, Biyani and Vidhyasthali has been rejected for not fulfilling the requisites of allotment.

However, it is to be noted that all of these three have already been allotted land at concessional rates earlier and following the notification in the year 2005 from the Rajasthan government, once an institute has been assigned a land, it is illegal to apply again for the same.
