New Delhi: What seemed to be a typographical error made by the HRD Ministry in Budget papers has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for
Rajasthan, as
Rajasthan will now get a new Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for the error.
Four IIMs were to be set up in
Haryana,
Chhattisgarh,
Jharkhand and
Tamil Nadu as per interim budget, but instead of
Chhattisgarh,
Rajasthan was mentioned in the speech due to a typographical error.
Acting Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee said that he was intimated about the mistake made by the HRD ministry that has now been resolved and has led to setting up of new IIM in
Rajasthan as well.
