| Crippled limbs get government aid December 09, 2009 Kota: The Government of India’s initiative for improving level of primary education in India is also heading towards improving health of the polio-affected children in the state. The Polio Correction programme in collaboration with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA) has launched an initiative for children belonging to the age group of 6 to 14 years. Information about polio-affected children is collected through a survey. Proposals for operation of these students, which are to be held in Narayan Seva Sansthan in Udaipur, are being sent to the Directorate at district level. All the expenses of the initiative are borne by the SSA. The Primary Education Directorate has settled a target of 500 students in this session of the programme. |
