BASE Students shine at prestigious Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana exam

BASE, the Bangalore based, premier training organisation providing quality training for competitive examinations like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIPMT, CET and COMEDK today announced that 23 of its students have qualified in the first stage of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) examination, a Government of India initiative to encourage students of Basic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine to take up research careers.

The KVPY is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc, Bangalore). Speaking on the occasion, Dr HS Nagaraja Founder Director of BASE said "We are happy that a number of our students have qualified in the KVPY exam 2011.

The programs like IIT JEE Achiever, Medical Excel prepare students for various examinations and KVPY is one such exam. The credit goes to the students for taking up the challenge and coming out successful.
