BVDU to conduct All India Entrance Test for medical courses

Pune: Bharatiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University will be conducting the All India Common Entrance Test (CET-II) for admissions into the following courses:

1) Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS)
2) Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
3) Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)

For admission to BDS course, the candidate should have passed HSC or Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained 50% (for SC / ST at least 40%) marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together at the qualifying examination or equivalent. The candidate seeking admission to these courses should be an Indian national and should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.

For admission to BHMS course the candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually. The candidate seeking admission to these courses should be an Indian national and should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.

The application forms are available at the University Office & the Following colleges:

Dental College & Hospital (Pune, Navi Mumbai & Sangli)

College of Ayurveda (Pune)

Homoeopathic Medical College (Pune)

The last date for the submission of application forms is July 25, 2010 and the entrance examination will be conducted on August 1, 2010.
