Mumbai: The third merit list for admission to junior colleges in Mumbai will be released on August 4. The list was earlier scheduled to be released today.

The education department has postponed the list toady saying that various colleges have not yet updated the list of vacant seats.

V. K Wankhede, deputy director, school education department said, "After the third list on Monday students will be informed about their allotment through text messages. Better options will also be offered to students who have registered their grievances."

The education department has received approximately 2,200 grievances over allocation in the second merit list.
