Pune University ties up with NNE for publication of examination results

New Delhi: The University of Pune has joined hands with the National Network of Education (NNE) for the publication of its undergraduate and postgraduate examination results.

The results of the University of Pune will now be available on www.ExamResults.net and www.PuneEducation.net

The results of the varsity will also be available on Mobile Phones (SMS) through 56263. The details of the SMS facility will be announced on www.ExamResults.net as and when the results are officially announced.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Dindore H.D., Incharge of Management Information Cell at the varsity, said, "The results of the Pune University will now be available on www.ExamResults.net and SMS 56263".

Mr. Siddharth Jalan, Technical Coordinator of NNE, said, "This is a one-of-its kind initiative which will help students get their results instantly through the Internet or SMS, whichever is convenient to them".

University of Pune, one of the premier universities in India, is positioned in the North-western part of Pune city. It occupies an area of about 411 acres. It was established on 10th February, 1948 under the Poona University Act. The university houses 46 academic departments. It is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'. It has about 118 recognized research institutes and 269 affiliated colleges offering graduate and under-graduate courses.

www.ExamResults.net is India's largest examination results portal. The result of 27 School Boards of Education and 48 Universities are currently declared on the portal.
