MKCL makes admission process easier by going online

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd. (MKCL) has made admission process much easier for more than three lakh students in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) by going online.

The students will now have to fill the mandatory online admission form on the website after the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results get declared on June 25.

This will relieve the students from waiting in the colleges for several hours and visiting them individually, instead students can apply to more than 100 colleges from the comfort of their homes.

This process has been initiated by the state school education minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil.

The process will be applicable from July 26 when students start filling the online forms.

An Online Admission Information Booklet can be collected along with the mark sheet from the school by paying of Rs.10.

The information booklet will even comprise of a manual application form for those unfamiliar with the online process.

Students need to log on to www.fyjc.org.in/mumbai for applying online.
