Cathedral school to soon offer international curriculum

Mumbai: Fort school would like to drop ICSE syllabus and may adopt IGCSE syllabus very soon. With this initiative, the Cathedral and John Connon School will soon be among the elite league of city schools providing international syllabus.

Cathedral has already set up an international school at Lonavala that is due to begin operations from the next academic session. Plans are also to convert the syllabus from ICSE into IGCSE.

In a recent meeting with its teachers, the management discussed plans about offering the IGCSE syllabus for students of 9th and 10th standard.

"School will change the old curriculum phase-wise. We plan to have one division for IGCSE, while the other two will continue with ICSE. The syllabus will be made voluntary for all students," the official said.
