RGTU ties up with Redberri to boost RandD

Bhopal: To boost its research and development (R&D) activities, Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGTU) has joined hands with Redberri Corporation of USA by signing a MoU with it. Under the MoU, the innovative ideas of the students of RGTU would be utilized by the Corporation for launching the product and marketing them, and the students would in return be provided 45 percent of the patent of the products.

According to university sources, the initiative is part of the strategy of the University for setting up a knowledge park at the campus.

"The Knowledge Park at RGTU has been conceptualised to strengthen the knowledge infrastructure in the university and in its affiliated institutions. It will equip students graduating from the RGTU and its affiliated institution with the wings of knowledge and capabilities of innovation, creative design and new product development," informs RGTU Vice Chancellor PB Sharma.
