Moily said that the proposals for the common entrance test would be discussed at a two day national consultation on Second Generation Reform in Legal Education.
The discussion for the finalization of a blueprint for an updated legal education system in the country would be held on May 1 and 2 and will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Moily said that topics that will be covered in the discussion would be to identify major challenges that the legal education system is facing today as well as necessary changes that need to be incorporated in Indian legal education, trade,
commerce and industry so as to meet the requirements of the Bar Council of India (BCI) and to enable the legal education to have international outreach.
