New law courses at IGNOU from next year

New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in collaboration with Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy & Training (MILAT) and South Asian Forum of Clinical Law Teachers (SAFCLT) organised a three-day workshop here from December 15 - 17.

The workshop discussed various issues relating to legal education and development in the country.

The varsity also decided to launch few courses in Law from next year.

The courses include Post Graduate Certificate programme in Cyber Laws and Patent Laws, Diploma in Legal Literacy, PG Diploma in Criminal Justice, Agricultural Law, B.A. (Law), Masters programme in Criminal Justice and Agricultural Law, Cyber Law & Cyber Security and Joint Masters programme in Intellectual Property which will be offered jointly by IGNOU and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Australia from 2008.
