Srinagar: The University of Kashmir has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Doordarshan at Srinagar to reach out to a large section of students with quality educational programmes.

"The MoU states that the 67 programmes produced by the Educational Multimedia Research Centre of the university would be telecasted thrice a week on Doordarshan," said a spokesman from the university.

The programmes include a lecture series for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The Doordarshan would charge no telecast fee - stated the MoU.
