Bhalessa (Jammu & Kashmir): The Bhalessa Youth Coordination Committee and National Students Welfare Association (NSWA) has urged the Governor to establish a polytechnic college at Bhalessa.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Sadaket Malik, Chairman of the Bhalessa Youth coordination Committee, said, "If the Government wants to produce industry graduates, then why have areas like Bhalessa been ignored".

"Community polytechnic is of great importance to impart skill based training to youth of the area", Malik added.

The organization has submitted its proposal to the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry and has asked it to contribute from the World Bank assisted scheme of technical education for setting up of a community polytechnic.
