Guwahati (Assam): What if the thirsty cannot reach the well… the ASOM Sahiyta Sabha, Assam's highest literary body claims to bring the well to the thirsty by introducing a mobile library-cum-bookstall.

The mobile stall will cater to the reading habits of people living in towns and villages with over 600 titles published under its name.

This innovative vehicle is so designed that it can accommodate four people comfortably to read books inside, while an additional portable table can also be laid outside to accommodate four more.

Rong Bong Terang, the Sabha president flagged off the library-cum-bookstall on Tuesday which will also sell its own publications at a heavy discount.
