Haryana varsity inks MoU with Japan research institute
Rohtak: The Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) here signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan-based Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN) to facilitate joint research and joint excavation of heritage sites, an MDU spokesperson said here on Saturday.

"This MoU will strengthen the scholarly ties between MDU and RIHN. It will facilitate staff and student exchange programmes and lay the foundation for joint research and joint excavation of heritage sites," said Manmohan Singh, head of history department at MDU, here.

"There would be a healthy exchange of knowledge and ideas between both institutes, which will give international experience and exposure to our faculty and students," said Singh.

An academic delegation from RIHN, situated at Kyoto in Japan, visited MDU here, around 225 km from the state capital Chandigarh, to ink this MoU. IANS
