Guru Jambeshwar University operates helpline for admission seekers

Hisar: A helpline and helpdesk will be operated in the campus of Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology for guiding admission seekers for the admission and counselling process.

Both the helpline as well as the helpdesk would be run by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the University.

According to Sandeep Rana, Coordinator, NSS unit, "The helpline got functional recently and will be operational for next one month, whereas, the helpdesk would be functional till July 7, 2009."

Students can contact any of the following numbers for information or queries related to admissions on: 9255110772, 9416051041, 9416784706, 9354434048, 9416927792 and 9466748271.

The Government of Haryana is also mulling over upgrading Guru Jambeshwar University to an affiliating university.
