Class 12 English paper cancelled in Haryana
Bhiwani: Class 12 state board English examination was cancelled in Haryana on Wednesday after reports of question paper leak, officials said.

The exam was being conducted by Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani.

"We got reports that English question paper code number 302 was leaked in Sonipat district and in some other parts of the state. Therefore, we decided to cancel the paper and the next date will be announced soon," a senior BSEH official told the sources.

The cancellation at the eleventh hour surprised thousands of students who came to know about the development only after reaching the exam centres.

"We have started our departmental inquiry to find the culprit. We have got reports that police have also arrested one person in this connection, but we do not have any official confirmation about this," the official added.

However, Haryana police denied any arrests.

"We have rounded up some people and questioning is on. But so far we have not arrested anybody," said a police official. IANS
