Nanotech centre to come up at Nirma Varsity
Ahmedabad: The Nirma University of Science & Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up two nanotech centres at its campus.

The MoU was signed by the varsity at the 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit' concluded recently.

The varsity will invest an amount of Rs.50 crore to set up these centres.

Out of total two, one will focus on research in the field of nano-technology and the other will focus on research centre around improving electric power quality for consumers.

A part of the fund will be provided by the government to set up nanotechnology centres at the varsity campus here.

The University has also initiated talks with Central Government to establish a centre to fund another research institute on solar energy.
