Gandhinagar: Beating the slowdown trend, over 20 companies are participating in this year's campus recruitment programme of the Institute of Petroleum Management Gandhinagar (IPMG), which began on Monday.

Organisers said eight companies, including Indian Oil Corp, Hindustan Petroleum Corp, and consultancy major KPMG, participated in the first day of the week-long event.

Ten oil and gas companies have shown keen interest in the placements process of the IPMG, also known as Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.

Companies like ICICI Lombard, Bharat Petroleum Corp, Aban Offshore and Gujarat State Petroleum Corp would visit the campus for recruitment during the week. IANS
