Sangrur, Punjab: Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) has begun the procedure for admissions into its Ph.D. courses in science and engineering.

The Ph.D. programmes being offered by the institute are:

1) Chemistry
2) Chemical Engineering ,
3) Computer Science & Engineering
4) Electrical & instrumentation Engineering.
5) Electronics & Communication Engineering.
6) Food Engineering. & Technology
7) Humanities (English) and Management
8) Mathematics (including Statistics)
9) Mechanical Engineering
10) Physics & interdisciplinary areas

To be eligible, candidates are required to have a Master's degree in any one of Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Humanities/ Management with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Application forms and information can be obtained from the office of Dean (R&C) of the institute or can be downloaded from the institute's official website.

A separate application form must be submitted for each programme.

Selection of the candidates shall be made strictly in accordance with the academic record of the candidates and performance in the interview.

The last date for the submission of application forms is July 30.
