FIITJEE announces talent exam on Dec 14
New Delhi: The Forum for IITJEE (FIITJEE), a noted coaching institute for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other competitive engineering exams, will conduct the FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam (FTRE) 2008 for students from class VI to XI on December 14, 2008.

The exam will be conducted at 56 centres of the institute across the country.

"The institute helps students realize their dreams and work in that direction. This assessment exam will be helpful for students in analyzing their chances in the IITs through the Rank Potential Index and Success Potential Index", a spokesperson of FIITJEE said.

All the information regarding the exam is available at the institute's website (www.fiitjee.com/ftre.htm).

The results of the exam will be announced on January 4, 2009. Top performers will be given medals, cash prizes, fee waivers for FITJEE programmes and hostel fee concessions.

The winner of the first prize will be given a cash award of Rs.100,000 to Rs.250,00 with a 100 percent fee waiver, while the second rank holder will be given Rs.60,000 to Rs.200,000 with 90 percent fee waiver. The third prize winner will be awarded Rs.40,000 to Rs.150,000 with 75 percent fee waiver.
