DCE to start new courses soon

New Delhi: The Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) has announced to start new courses in software engineering, microwave and optical communications, information security, bio and nanotechnology. The new courses were announced on the occasion of annual convocation of DCE and the new courses will be starting soon.

Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna while addressing the convocation said, the teaching communities should constantly change their existing curricula and link it to the existing wave of knowledge.

DCE principal D Goldar said, "The focus of DCE is on industry relevant research and strengthening technology missions of our country. Under the 11th Five Year Plan, the college is expected to attain self sufficiency in power generation, safe drinking water and effective disposal of solid and liquid wastes. The multinational company Intel has selected DCE to join planet lab consortium."
