Second phase of counseling begins at DTU
Delhi: The AIEEE cut-off rank for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates from the Delhi region has been extended for the second counseling of the Delhi Technological University (DTU), scheduled for August 18.

Now, SC candidates of Delhi category with AIEEE-2010 overall rank between 1,11251 - 1,80,000 and OBC candidates of Delhi category with AIEEE-2010 overall rank between 35,001 - 80,000 are eligible to appear for the Second Counseling of the University at 2 PM on August 18.

The Second Counseling for Delhi Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates will also be held on the same day 10.30 AM onwards where all eligible applicants who had marked their attendance during the first counseling and could not get any seat are eligible to appear.

For students of the rest of the categories the second phase of counseling at DTU commenced from today as per the notified schedule given in the Admission Brochure 2010 and University's official website.

Even the students who had marked their attendance during the first counseling but could not get a seat at that time are eligible to appear for the second round of counseling.

Applicants are advised to appear for the counseling with the required necessary documents and fees of Rs 48,000 in form of a demand draft (DD) in favor of "Registrar, Delhi Technological University", payable at Delhi to secure their admission.

It may be noted that after the implementation of 15 percent OBC quota, the total intake for undergraduate engineering courses has increased to 1128 at DTU.
