Jamia to start course in Nano-Technology

New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is all set to begin an M-Tech course in Nanotechnology from this year. The course will aim to provide extensive knowledge to students in fields such as microelectronics, advanced materials, electro-optics and medicine.

The Physics Department has developed research and development activities in nanotechnology and Microsystems in collaboration with DRDO and NPL for conducting the course.

Bachelor degree holders with a subject combination in electrical, mechanical or electronics and communication or computer engineering with at least 60% marks and post graduates with subject combination of physics, chemistry, electronics science, material science, electronic instrumentation with not less than 50% of marks are eligible to apply.
