Jamia flags off sale of admission forms from today
New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has started its admission process for the academic year 2010-11 from today.

The sale of application forms and prospectus will be available from the campus on all working days including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The last date for submission of application for various courses is as under:

Faculty of Social Science - May 4, 2010

Faculty of Humanities and Language - May 6, 2010

Faculty of Natural Sciences - May 5, 2010

The cost of prospectus and application form includes that of the entrance tests and varies between Rs.200 to Rs.500.

Admissions in the university is strictly based on an entrance test except for Bachelors in Dental Surgery. The first stage will be a written test comprising 85% of your score while the rest 15% is devoted to the interview session.

The schedule for entrance test in various courses under AJK Mass Communication Research Centre are to be held between May 1 to May 9, 2010 while that of a full time MBA programme is scheduled for May 16.

B.Tech and Diploma in engineering courses entrances will be held on May 29 and June 1 respectively.
