Euphoria rock at IP University's 'Anugoonj 2010'
New Delhi: The second day of 'Anugoonj 2010', the 11th annual cultural festival of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), saw the much-awaited star night musical performance by Hindi rock band 'Euphoria'.

The day began with the Light Vocal (Indian), where budding singers mesmerized everyone with their performances. Simultaneously, literary events like Just-A-Minute (JAM) took place in Hindi and English.

Mr. and Ms. Anugoonj 2010 contest enthralled the audiences with a stiff competition. In Rangoli competition, the theme was 'Power of Colours', and creative renditions were drawn from colours. Various colleges performed one act plays.

The major attraction of the second day of Anugoonj 2010 was the performance of band 'Euphoria'.

"Palash Sen and his group set the stage on fire and captivated everyone with their performance. It was the much awaited event of this year's Anugoonj," said a student of the university.

Students from over 100 affiliated institutions sprawled the university ground in large numbers. It was a night full of music, rhythm and passion.

After a mesmerizing performance by Euphoria, third day of the fest had a vibrant mix of musical, dance and literary events such as Western Vocal (solo), Group song (Indian), Non-filmy Choreography, Folk dance (non-film), English debate, Cartooning, Clay modeling and special qawalli performance by Sifar.

Anugoonj 2010 - the four day fest (February 3 to 6, 2010) is seeing students from various affiliated colleges participating in various competitions with all enthusiasm and zeal.
