Delhi University's first cut-off list on Tuesday
New Delhi: With Delhi University set to announce its first cut-off list on Tuesday, aspirants are tense as they hope to make it to the premier varsity.

"The cut off percentage will definitely be higher than last year. I am not sure if I can get admission," Bikash Baruah, an applicant said.

"We are eagerly waiting for the list. I have applied in humanities stream and I am hoping to see my name in the first cut off list," Anindita Deka, an applicant from Assam said.

According to the university officials, admissions for the first cut-off list will take place between June 23 and June 25.

"Though the cut-off will be high for the first list, students must not lose hope as the second and third lists will also come. Along with this, we also have sports, fine-arts and other quotas," an official from the university said.

The second list will be out on June 26 while a third list will be released on July 1.

Delhi University, one of the premier universities of the country received 143,224 application forms this year for nearly 54,000 undergraduate seats. This is against the over 186,000 forms which were sold.
