DU business courses entrance test results announced
New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) announced the results for the entrance test conducted for bachelor of business studies (BBS) and bachelor of financial investment and analysis (BFIA) courses on Sunday.

Candidates who have been shortlisted will be required to appear for interviews and group discussions (GD) from June 16 to 25 at the business economics department in South Campus.

The entrance test was also conducted for the BA (Honors) business economics (BBE), the results for which will be declared on June 25 as the programme does not require interviews or GDs.

About 15500 students had appeared for the test this year.

The Delhi University will be announcing the results for the Combined Aptitude Test in English (CATE) soon. CATE is conducted for admission to the much coveted BA (Honors) English programme across 21 DU colleges.

1140 general category candidates have been shortlisted for interview and GD for the BBS programme whereas 261 SC, 37 ST and 451 OBC candidates have been shortlisted from the reserved categories.

In all, there are 277 seats for the BBS programme across DU, offered by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Keshav Mahavidyalaya and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.

The university offers 62 seats for the BFIA programme. 252 general category candidates have been shortlisted along with 105 OBC, 59 SC and 25 ST candidates from the reserved quota.

50% of weightage will be given to candidates' performance in the entrance test, 30% to marks in the class 12 examinations and 10% to the candidates' performance in the interviews and group discussions.

Admission to the BBE programme will be based upon 50% weightage given to marks in the entrance test and 50% to marks of the class 12 examinations.
