The report by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India on Chhattisgarh said the state government diverted the amount to hire vehicles.

The state has made unauthorised expenditure of Rs.89.7 million from the SSA funds for printing and free distribution of magazines, the report said, while referring to the functioning of the school education department.

In its reference to the Public Health and Family Welfare Department, the report said infrastructure created at an investment of Rs.28.8 million for a telemedicine system remained unutilised for more than three years. IANS
