Govt College of Art inviting applications for various courses

Chandigarh: Government College of Art in Chandigarh has begun the procedure for admissions into the following courses:

BFA (4 years degree course) in Graphics, Sculpture

Special Diploma for the deaf and dumb and mentally challenged in Painting, Graphics and Sculpture

The eligibility criteria for admission into the Degree courses required the candidate to be a Class 12 pass out. For the diploma courses, candidates need to have a minimum qualification of Class 10 pass with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks (35% in case of SC, ST or OBC).

The prospectus along with the application form can be obtained over the counter from the college premises. The prospectus and form can also be mail ordered after a payment of Rs. 300 by money order.

The last date for the sale and receipt of application forms is July 20, 2010.
