UPSC declares Civil Services Main Exam 2009 result
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the written part of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2009 held in October-November.

The successful candidates have qualified for personality test for selection to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services (Group 'A' and Group 'B' ).


"Candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. All the qualified candidates for personality test are required to download the summary sheet available on the Commission's website and sent the same duly filed in by speed post to Under Secretary, Room No.432, Ayog Sachivalaya Building, UPSC, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 within ten days from the date of declaration of result," said an official from the Commission.

Personality test of the qualified candidates will commence from March 22, 2010, and will be held in the office of the UPSC at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.

The date and time of the test is being intimated to the qualified candidates individually. It will also be displayed on the Commission's website from March 16, 2010.

The candidates who do not receive communication regarding their test, should immediately contact the office of the Commission through letter or on phone numbers: 23385271, 23381125, 23098543 or fax no. 011-23387310, 011-23384472.

"No request for change in the date and time of the personality test intimated to the candidates will be entertained under any circumstances. The candidates are advised to notify changes in their address, if any, to the Commission immediately through letter of fax at telephone numbers indicated above," added the official.
